Who is eligible for th $160 credit?

The $160 credit is available to new Pulse Energy customers who sign up for a fixed-term electricity plan and complete their switch within the promotional period. Eligibility is generally open to residential households in qualifying regions that are not currently in contract with another retailer.

To qualify, customers must maintain an active account in good standing and not have received this credit from Pulse Energy in the past 12 months. The credit is applied automatically to your bill over the first few months after your switch is confirmed. Who will I receive the credit?

The $160 credit will be applied directly to your Pulse Energy electricity account as a bill credit. It is not paid out as cash or a separate payment. Once your switch is completed and confirmed, the credit will be automatically spread across your first few monthly bills (typically $40–$80 per month depending on your billing cycle).

You’ll see the credit clearly listed on your invoice as “Welcome Credit” or “Promotion Credit.” Make sure your account remains active and in good standing to receive the full amount. If you have any questions about your bill, you can contact our customer support team for assistance.

Do I need t sign a fixed-term contract?

Yes, to be eligible for the $160 credit you need to sign up for one of Pulse Energy’s fixed-term electricity plans (usually 12 or 24 months). The credit is part of our fixed-term promotional offer and is not available on month-to-month or flexible plans.

Once you enter your address on our website, Pulse Energy will instantly check service availability in your area and display the electricity plans (including the $160 credit offer) that are available for your property. You’ll see personalised pricing estimates based on your address, along with any applicable bundle options for broadband or gas.

From there, you can compare plans, choose the one that suits you best, and proceed to sign up. We’ll guide you through the rest of the process, including confirming your details and arranging the switch from your current provider. If no plans appear or you need help, our team is ready to assist.
